Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Minimal.md handles information.

TL;DR

Your documents stay private. Minimal.md does not collect, transmit, or share your personal information or document contents.

Information collection

Minimal.md does not collect personal information, document contents, usage data, or device data. The app does not use accounts, analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies.

Documents and file access

Markdown and plain-text documents are processed on your device. The app accesses documents that you create in the app or explicitly choose through Apple’s document browser. Document contents are not uploaded to the developer.

Storage and syncing

Your documents are stored on your device or in a location you choose, such as iCloud Drive or another file provider. If you choose a cloud location, storage and syncing are handled by that provider under its own privacy policy. App preferences are stored locally on your device.

Sharing and third-party services

Minimal.md does not sell or share your data and does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. Apple and any file provider you choose may process information needed to provide their services under their respective privacy policies. The optional support form on this website uses Netlify Forms to process and deliver submissions under Netlify’s privacy policy.

Data deletion

You control your documents and can delete them in Minimal.md or through the Files app. Deleting Minimal.md removes its locally stored preferences and app data. Documents stored with a cloud or third-party file provider remain subject to that provider’s storage and deletion controls.

Support and privacy requests

If the support form is used, the email address and message provided are transmitted through Netlify to the developer and used only to respond to the request. This information is not sold or used for advertising and is retained only as necessary to resolve the request.

Changes

This policy may be updated if the app’s features or privacy practices change.
